Getting to the hotel from the Medina is quite daunting, especially at night. There were numerous instances of service failure, like incorrect bookings for dinner and a guide that never showed up. Additionally, I felt uncomfortable when we encountered aggressive individuals while navigating the alleys, which really put a damper on our arrival experience.

The traditional Moroccan design throughout creates a captivating atmosphere, providing an authentic experience. Breakfast options are quite varied, featuring classic Moroccan dishes and the option for made-to-order eggs.

The pool area lacks cleanliness, which is disappointing, especially when relaxation is key. Rooms can have unpleasant odors, and maintenance issues like non-functioning showers appear to be an issue. The noise levels from the courtyard can disrupt the serenity at night, particularly with events such as cooking classes taking place.

The room felt truly luxurious, adorned with elegant decor and featuring ice-cold air conditioning, a perfect escape after exploring the vibrant surroundings. The rooftop offered breathtaking sunset views over the medina, and we loved having multiple cozy areas to find some private time. The staff were incredibly attentive, especially Muhammad, who ensured our arrival was smooth, and the dining experience was a delight, with breakfast offering a range of options that changed daily. Overall, it was an amazing place to relax between visiting the nearby attractions like the Moulay Abdellah Quarter and the Marinid Tombs, both just a short stroll away.

The rooftop views? Stunning. I could’ve stared at the medina for hours. Breakfast was solid, too—loved the fresh bread and pastries. Aziz from the staff was a gem, making sure I didn’t get lost in the maze of the medina. Only wish the pool was cleaner. Otherwise, a total gem of a place!

I almost thought I woudl give this place a good review, until I saw the dirty pool and the disgusting smell in my room. I expected a free upgrade for those inconveniences, but apparently they treat everyone the same. I guess my standards were too high for the likes of this place.

i recently stayed at hotel & spa dar bensouda for three nights and it truly exceeded my expectations. the staff was incredibly hospitable, making us feel right at home while surrounded by the vibrant medina. waking up to the sound of birdsong and the call to prayer from my elegant room added a magical touch to our experience.

The rooftop offers amazing views of Fes, and there's a lovely pool area that is perfect for relaxing after a day of work. The staff is incredibly hospitable. they helped with arrangements and ensured a smooth experience during my stay.

We had a delightful stay, especially loving the spacious Deluxe Suite with its beautiful decor and refreshing pool. The authentic Moroccan dishes blew us away, but Wi-Fi was spotty.

Just a nice choice for a weekend respite in Fes with good price value. The staff were very helpful in getting our bags to the room, which made arrivals less stressful. Be sure to have local currency handy for tips and small purchases while wandering around the medina.
